NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

SUBJECT: EXTENSION OF PERIOD FOR SUBMISSION OF OFFERS/PROPOSALS FOR
RFP NO. PCS-2007-020 (PUBLIC RELATIONS REPRESENTATIVE FOR TAIWAN, ROC)

The subject Requested for Proposals closed on July 30, 2007 and no offers/proposals were received by the Procurement Officer. Due to the fact that the National Government sill requires the subject service, I have made this decision to reissue this notice to the Public to allow for a new period to submit proposals. The extended period will begin on August 17, 2007 and close not later 4:00pm on August 31, 2007.

With that, all potential offerors are given the opportunity to submit proposals for the above referenced service.

Review and evaluation of each proposals will take place immediately after August 31, 2007. If necessary, each offeror may be invitd for a brief presentation of their proposals and interview with the Review & Evaluation Committee assigned for this task.

Award of a contract is subject to the availability of funds. Offers or Proposals may be rejected and no contract may be awarded by the Procurement Officer pursuant to Republic of Palau Procurement Laws.

Offeror acknowledges that the submission of a proposal provides the Republic of Palau the right to inspect at reasonable time the part of the plant or place of business of a contractor or subcontractor which is related to the performance of any contract awarded by the government. Failure to allow inspection may result in the rejection of the bid.

A successful contractor must comply with local business laws.

An original and four (4) copies of propsals must be submitted to Mr. Eledebechel at the address indicated above no later than 4:00 PM (Palau TIme) on August 31, 2007.
