On June 3-11, 2007, PVA Managing Director, Darin De Leon attended a week long roadshow that was held in Australia's three cities; Cairns, Brisbane and Townsville. Members of the Micronesian team were Sam and Martul Scott of Sam's Tours, Mari Kishigawa and Shirley Rudimch of Carp, Laurence Kenbaroy and Vincent Tafileluw of Yap Visitors Authority, Joseph Okada of Guam Visitors Bureau, Margot Streater-GSA, Continental, and Emelyn Simon from Republic of Marshall Islands Vistor's Authority.
The purpose of the trip was to meet with key media and travel agents and continental representatives with hopes of increasing number of visitors to the Micronesian region and at the same time promote the region's rich culture, unspoiled environment and pristine waters that offers unique experiences to travelers.
